There are three accounts, Deposits for quick easy access to cash; Shares, to access loans and receive dividends annually; and Fixed deposit for secure savings with steady growth (minimum of $1,000.000 for fixed deposit).

The fees associated with a Credit Union are Lower than those of other financial institutions. The lower fees means that you can save money by banking at Bethel Credit Union.
This offers financial comfort during the death of a loved one, providing a cash benefit to be used to cover funeral expenses.

Becoming a member of the Bethel Credit Union Co-operative Society is easy.

Membership Requirements

  • Two (2) valid forms of National Identification (ID Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport)
  • Computerized Birth Certificate (Including any affidavits attached)
  • Marriage Certificate (For females with a name change)
  • Utility Bill (Two Months from bill date)
    – WASA & T&TEC
    – TSTT, Digicel Play (Landline)
    – Or Bank Statement
  • Job Letter (Not older than one month)
  • Payslip (Not older than one month)
  • Business Certificate & affidavit indicating what sums are expected to be realized (For self-employed persons)
  • Documentation stating how the account is going to be serviced.
  • A named recommender being an existing member in good standing (For new accounts only)
  • Beneficiary Information: Name, Address, Date of Birth, ID Number, Contact Number, Occupation

Note: For persons submitting utility bills in another individual’s name, an authorization form must be completed and signed by the individual whose name appears on the bill and returned with a copy of a valid form of ID.

Youths under 18 will require the following:

  • Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport (original must be produced to authenticate copy);
  • Completed Youth Membership Application Form;
  • Signature of Parent or Guardian.
